Hi.

After a long discussion, and much collective work, we were able to produce a series of templates in order to paint the famous aztecs at the AMT/ERTL USS Enterprise refit model.

It´s free for download, here:

http://www.starshipmodeler.com/tech/cz_mask.htm

Coral lines are the actual deflector grid lines (engraved at the model).

Blue lines are the main "aztecs".

Green lines are the secondary and saucer border aztecs.

I use the metric system, so do not trust the "inch" scale completely (it have a 0.4 mm error). Trust the centimeter scale.

New aztec studies will be availeble soon, which will cover some new areas.

Thanks James Henderson for the Autocad converting work !

Cool! I really like the Ent-D template. I plan to cut out the patterns and use them as masks on my kit.

Thanks,
Ray

Oh sure... come up with the "D" aztecs AFTER I have painted mine.... good job!

Seriously though... awsome work! I can only use the upper saucer ones (only part left unpainted) but if I ever make another.... :)

Shows how easy they are to find :p

Actually, I never looked for them, because I never really needed them.. but now that I have them... :)

I never knew they existed. Not well publicized I guess. Well I know they're there now. That's all that matters.
