I was just curious, has anyone done a version of the Enterprise C as a Dreadnaught class with three warp nacelles ? Michaels has 2 of the 1/2500 scale Cadet C's on the shelf right now and I have a 50 off coupon I could use for the one and a 40 off coupon for the other.
Just wondering if anyone has done or seen a dreadnaught of this desing in that scale already.

Those engines are awfully fat and ugly to want to add one. :)

Google found only one image, on a STO forum:

Personally, I've never been a big fan of the idea of simply adding a third nacelle to make it a dreadnought. More changes than that are necessary.
At least they addes saucer mounted Impulse Engines...

I agree with the above- there should be a reason for the thrid nacelle- a larger hull, more equipment. The TOS FJ design had a general configuration of a Constitution class, but every part of the ship was larger and reworked.

There's a Niagra-class (background ship at Wolf 359 in BoBW), but that uses Galaxy nacelles on an Ambassador hull. Still, google it, it may give you some ideas. :)
