A friend of mine gave me the echo shc-210
problems; it would not run, i went to an echo service provider who sold me a carb kit, plug, new coil top for the plug, new primer kit and it still does not run. It does get spark, i checked the new plug, i know it runs because it ran for a brief time yesterday, it would run wide open and then quit. Today i re-did everything about ten times, at the end i put fuel in the plug hole and it ran until it ran out of fuel then it quit, please help.

p.s. i also cleaned the spark arrester

I would recommend a replacement carburetor, I don't have very good luck rebuilding the Zama carburetors they use on these units. It sounds like base on your description, that you are not getting enough fuel to the engine.

Using the serial number off your unit, you can look up the correct carburetor that's used on your unit. You can likely find a more reasonable priced one on ebay, just make sure it's a new one and not used.
