Hi new here to this group and I am currently working on an Enterprise D fiber optic model and my question is how do I drill out the windows to make them bigger because I dont want to use the fiber optic lines for the windows I am trying to make them look real and not a pinpoint of light. Thanks

Welcome aboard !

Drill a series of holes in the window, then use a sharp #11 xacto to cut them out.
Just be careful, those blades do not like fingers.

Adding to Johns advice, then use a jewelers file to square the opening.

Personally, I like grinding with Dremel from the inside. Since the window is inset, you'll break through there first, and if you continue carefully, you'll have a nice hole the exact shape of the inset window. Just know when to stop -- try looking at it from the outside, lit from the inside, when you get close.
