http://www.milezone.com/mb-lesney-edition-68-mercury-cougar-orange-r1285o.html << this was a 2010 issue, I think. The batch he describes included a Cuda though and I believe he means that one.Did I hear Cougar
What colors and what year please.
The only Hobbytalker I remember mentioning one in his collection was BattleScar. I tried to find one as well, just for the heck of it. 3000 worldwide makes it a nice special. When I look at them both, however, I think the wheels on the regular look better.i went thru cases and cases of those to find one austin van and one police bmw X5..anyone ever find the whitewall orange chevelle?
I have the white wall Chevelle, and the yellow '58 GMC pick up, the Camaro, Volvo, Landcruiser and Lotus as well as the Vista Cruiseri went thru cases and cases of those to find one austin van and one police bmw X5..anyone ever find the whitewall orange chevelle?
Nice job, Eric!thanks to messer262(eric) i finnaly completed my 2011 lesney set with the 65 austin mini:thumbsup:
I would agree with them being a marketing ploy, especially at the price they were listed for. If they were going to bring back that name, probably would have been best if they had been genuine Lesney castings, if there is any tooling left.I never liked them bringing back the Lesney name personally.
Kind of a cheap marketing ploy to me as I probably hold the old Lesney name and vehicles a little more sacred than a grown man ought to!![]()
