The Walt Disney Company, or more commonly Disney, is currently a very diversified large multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate. They are headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

Disney was founded on October 16, 1923, by (2) brothers - Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney. They were initially called the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. Over time they have established themselves as a leader in the animation industry - before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and theme parks.

Disney also operated under the names The Walt Disney Studio and then Walt Disney Productions. Taking on its current name in 1986, it expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused on theater, radio, music, publishing, and online media. It is now the world's second largest media conglomerate in terms of revenue, after Comcast.

Around 2001, Disney offered a 1:64 scale model called "Test Track Vehicle". IIRC it is modeled after one of the ride vehicles at their Disney World location in Orlando Florida were it was sold in their gift shops. The baseplate only identifies 'Disney' and 'Made in China'.

In 2004, Gillette's Oral B brand of toothbrushes teamed with Disney and either Golden Wheels or Summer to make a crude diecast series distributed with their toothbrush sales.

More recently they have been offering their CARS movie vehicles in association with Pixar. The Mattel brand logo has been included since their 2018 offering.

Other 2019 Mattel Disney related offerings are -

Toy Story Series - Walmart Exclusive Series
Hot Wheels Disney Character Cars Series

Disney Tomica Collection
