I have just started applying the Aztec decals to my 1:350 Enterprise refit over a coat of Future. Here's the question: should I apply a 2nd (thin?) coat of Future over the Aztec decals before putting on the registry numbers and other decals that sit on top of the Aztec decals?

Yes! Definitely do that or you'll likely have the Aztec decals pull up as you place the name/registry decals.

Thanks. I kind of figured that was the answer. I've never had to put decals over decals before!

Here's my plan--let me know if this sounds right, please: I finish the Aztecs, put down Future (airbrush), and put on the 2nd layer of decals. I follow that up with yet another coat of Future and then--finally--a light coat of Tamiya Flat Clear.

(I started my refit in June and can't wait to get it finished and on display--finally!)
