This is a prototype reproduction of an Aurora GTO convertible which was redone as a hardtop. I haven't mounted the chassis yet because it's warped and I'm not sure how to take the bend out of the body. The chassis fits but it's very lop-sided :freak:. This is an old casting and somewhat brittle. It also has a few imperfections (casting bubbles) and the glass is off. So for now, I just detailed it.
cheers

Hey RR, I tried what you suggested, earlier this eve. I've had this a while and thought I'd tried that before, but couldn't recall the outcome. Well now I remember. It worked--but after cooling off the body, it "remembered" its original shape and returned to it! The same thing happened again. I also remember trying to get a warp out of an Aurora grey Corvette convertible vibe by putting in an oven  set on very low. That body shrunk and I ruined it  . I Won't be trying that again anytime soon!
Hey thanks for the input, though!
Cheers
