My Craftsman saw is about 10 years old but has been used only a few times. I had trouble with it and took it to a repair shop and was told the following. The carb mounts on the engine with the mounting bolts going into threaded fittings that are "pressed" into the engine instead of the engine just having threaded holes, and one of these fittings has come out of the body so there is nothing for the bolt to screw into to mount the carb. The fitting is knurled so it is SUPPOSED to stay in. This saw has way to few hours for this problem. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how can I fix it?

Thanks. I didn't consider that because the hole isn't threaded now but I could thread it I think. Its on the intake manifold and I don't know how much clearance there is but I will check.
