Saw the new 1:18 Big Time Muscle Racing Machines today, and I want to say...WOW! I saw the Camaro, the GT500 Stang, and I think the other might have been the Chevell. The castings look great and with the new bigger tires and wheels....they just look wonderful.

But PLEEAASSEEEEEEE stop with the getto interiors! In a racing casting, know one wants to see chrome bling, TV 's and 15" subs in the rear window! Your so close to nailing these racing looks, don't stop now, go all the way and get them right!

I'll give you a big reason as to why they are the way they are..............

Cost.............

All these vehicles are existing castings given a new spin with new wheels and paint jobs...................

Paint jobs, we'll they got to paint them all anyway.............

New wheels can be used on other castings..............

Retooling 3 new car specific interiors cost a lot of money......................

Money they don't need to spend on a scale that for them is not their forte...........

Their sales don't support it..............

With cost of manufacturing continually rising I'm just glad that we don't have to pay ERTL prices for them..................

Here's an option.............

Customize it yourself..................

Heres an option : tell your ppl at jada to get their heads un-stuck from their ass and make the new tooling interior ANYWAY !! They sure did spend the money for the camaro concept interior didnt that pal ?!?!
Here's another option.................

If you don't like Jada cars.............

Don't buy them....................

After all they're not the only diecast out there.....................

Maybe someone else fits your collecting style better...................

I think in due time you'll see some serious die-cast coming out of the Jada factory. I've been collecting Jada for a long time now, and I due see the improvement little by little they keep getting better and better. Soon you'll see completely detailed 1/24 scale's and maybe 1/18 stuff too. There was a lot of rumor's that the Donk line was discontinued and it turn's out they busted out a even better version of them. Here's some picture's.

Check out the detail on the Monte Carlo. You see the Chevrolet signature under the Headlight?

They've even changed base's take a look at the Regal's base you'll notice there's a lot more detail now.

I may self don't really like the Donk's so I had to drop the Monte, cause I can't wait for the BTM version. LOL! It was as easy as 6 screw's and some new axle's. That's it no crazy customizing here. Just drop it and that's it and look what I got a crazy looking Monte. I call her "Malo Monte"

That's a big step from these Sedan Delivery's. I think they had no detail a bit plain but I still bought them.

Hi there...
I usually don`t post here but read your messages, opinions, comments etc...
I like the fact that most of the members here are mature collectors. And most of the time I enjoy reading your comments.
I couldn`t help but notice this one:

First of all I don`t think we have our heads stuck in our asses here at JADA.
Second, Reekman doesn`t have to tell us what to do, because every day we go through at least a dozen different diecast forums including this one.
Basically I think your approach is wrong, your attitude is wrong.
If you want people to listen to your opinions, you should work on your communication skills.

69stang. About the interior. Reekman is right. At the moment we can not do anything about them. I recommend you try and customize the interior yourself. You might want to use Import Racer seats and roll cages.
Thanks.

Well said Turk... I think alot of people think its so easy to make changes on castings... If they only knew the process and cost involved... Jae
Good points made by all. One thing I do agree with is that the interior and engine is not consistant with the quality of the body, paint and graphics. Hopefully someday the interiors will be re-molded to be more stock...but until then I do appreciate the great value they are today.

I have to admit I don't buy a lot of Jada product, but I do check here to see what's going on and what might be new.
I think it's great that you guys take the time to stop by to check out what's up with the consumer.

That being said, please do more drag racing and pro street type cars, but without the oversized wheels.

Turk,

I to would like to thank you for checking in and even responding. See, I can live with that anwser, because someone in the know gave it to me.

But I do hope you have the oppertunity to fix that in the future. They are so close to being perfict! But you at least are aware that the two styles don't mix, by the way you phrased your anwser.

While we're at it, way to go on the 1:18 Camaro concept cars! Look great. And so do the euro releases, both scales. The scale looks dead on with those.

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.
