I never really heard of this model until recently, so I went on the hunt for them, I think I'm three or four short now, a local collector has the green one for me, just have to pick it up. Thanks to some trades and Ebay I've gotten these. I dig these older cars.

That's interesting. I, too, just added this casting to my HW collection. I think it's a pretty nice car.

Very nice, Gerald. I have long appreciated the old gangster barges by HW.

From memory I believe you are missing the first release from about 1985, looks a lot like the black one but with white wall wheels. And if you have the green on the way, then you are only missing the orange and the red from the Larry's Garage series. And that should do it.

Congratulations! Nice little collection going.

There is the Red Line Club release too, I was unaware of the Blackwall with the Whitewall tires, add that to the list.

Love this casting. Does the black one have a 3rd window open? i mean with the glass windows? Is it a different casting?

There is an orange one in the LG series as well. I think I may have one. I will look for you.

Actually, the extra window is original to the casting, the modification was blocking it in for these more recent releases. I kinda like the landau roof, but I am still partial to the first release with the white walls and extra windows. It goes very nice with a group of classic white walls from that era...Rolls Royce, Deusie, Auburn, Mercedes 540K, Talbot, Bugatti

Oh great I thought I had a great morning. I stopped at walmart this morning and found a couple of new cases. I grabbed 3 hunts all packards! 2 regs and one super! I thought I was going to surprize you with some packards! I guess that you already have them....well there is the fest charity auction!

I have the 1983 Malaysia produced version. A 1:58 scale, metal on metal, 1982 casting. Have you noticed the violin case yet?
