Found this new "Chevrolet SS" Never seen or heard of this car... Looks like, but is not a Nova, maby even a cross of a Nova and a Chevelle... Anyone seen one of these ?

I have a feeling I've seen this one a few times on the pegs in orange, not green, and it didn't appeal to me at all. Doesn't fit in my collection. I could be wrong, but I think it was this car. Reminds me too much of an old Capri or Mark I Escort...

I've been wondering about this car,just picked it up yesterday and wondered why it didn't say Nova on the package. Got to looking at it and thought HW's really messed up that casting.

Opala is the name of the Model.

After snooping around a bit I agree. I believe the car is from Brazil not South Africa. Steering wheel is on the "Correct" side... Hehe and car is Chevy thus eliminating Holden twice. Actually looks pretty accurate from picture I saw. Definite must buy. Thanks for showing. I doubt if I would have looked twice at this car on the pegs thinking it was just another Nova

My first thought is that its a Holden , but I guess not . Like the color , fits the car well !
Im not too familiar with S. American cars .. I know AMC had a coupe called Torino , even though Ford was using it here ... Our Early Falcons & '66 Galaxies were made in S. America into the '80's with updated styling ...
