I personally can't stand shuffling through spur gears trying to find the correct one. So I built this. Go to a local archery store and ask for the cut off end of a carbon arrow. Usually ranges from 2 / 4 inches long. Most shops have these laying around there cut off saw and would be glad to give to someone because its trash. So if they want to charge u tell them were they can put that piece and go somewere else. Next ask to purchase to inserts for whatever shaft size you have gotten usually around $.25 a piece. Also ask for the largest field point they have the bigger the better you can tighten and loosen them without a struggle. Usually priced around $.15 a piece. Some shops will give u old rusty ones and those will work just fine. Take and glue the inserts into both ends of the arrow shaft. Thread in one field point. Slide your spur gears on usually in some order. Now the other field point. If your spur gears slide over the field point install a washer between the field point and insert.
Should be in this order
