I guess that's about as close as it comes to a discription. From the looks of the parts you might get some sense of where this is going. It'll be big. Probably closer to 1/43 than 1/64. I've used a Torpedo Jones, 71 Dodge Charger "Torpedo" and a Low Flow so far. I want to keep that classic GP look. It'll probably get wire wheels and white walls

OK guys here's a trick that might save some of you some time, frustration and profanity. Trying to get everything to stay together so as to get proper deminsions to build the chassis was like building a house of cards in a windstorm. I'd get one set of fenders up the other would fall off. Get 'em both and the wheels wouldn't fit under the chassis. Then both fenders would fall off!!!! To prevent me from throwing the whole thing up against the wall I went to my little bag of tricks and got out the rubber cement. This stuff is as useful as duct tape. Even more so in the building of custom diecasts. It temporaily glues stuff together. It masks. It also bonds unlike materials. Good stuff! Anyway I applied some to the inner fenders and to the wheels. Let it dry and pressed them together with the body in between. Once it set up I'z able to remove the body leaving the exact distance between the fenders needed to set the chassis braces. Once I'm finished with this I can simply rub off the cement.

I may be gettin the cart before the horse here but I finally got the ride height established. Now I gotta find my copper foil and close up the gaps between the fenders and the body. This may "unestablish" the ride height depending if the fenders stay on during this process. I left the little flip-ups on the back of the front fenders because I thought they'd be good exhaust ports. :freak: Well.........Look at this sucker. Do you really see anything practical about it. "Torpedo" says I've lost my freekin mind if he thinks he's gonna drive it! He still hasn't grasped the fact that the CHV16H2O engine exhaust only water vapor. What he really needs to worry about is the bloody thing going into any kind of tight turn at speed.
