I think this is the key issue when you're dealing with young children and movies of this type--that it's not real and that you're supposed to have fun with them, but that it's still okay if they scare you because that's what they're supposed to do....and I always let him know it's not real, but sure is fun...so I figure soon he'll be okay watching the Universal classics with me.
Pumpaw-grandson time actually, but it amounts to the same thing...Model building is supposed to be fun and that picture of your assistant holding the scratch built base floor looked like you were having fun...father-son time!
With my glacial build pace, I'm facing the same problem; at this rate I'll be lucky if I can get it ready for paint before the end-of-the-year deadline. But I'm still going to do what I can when I can, just to see it through...maybe I can finish it by the end of next year. :lol:...I just knew I wasn't going to be able to finish by the end of the year so I regretfully had to bow out...
