I am assuming that since Castrol Superclean can be used to strip paint off of models it is also good for cleaning the mold release agent off of resin parts. Can anyone confirm this please. Thanks.
That stands to reason, but I haven't used it on any of my resin kits. I use Formula 409 or Fantastic for the realease agent, rinse in warm water. 409 or Fantastic don't take your outer skin layers off....
I've used Castrol to strip the paint off of resin kits, and did a double-dunk on one kit where the primer would fisheye. It worked well, IMHO. Lately, I've been soaking my resin kits in Bleche-White to get rid of the mold release, and that's been working fine.
