I have a b3 conversion Kranzel but I don't know where to start. So far I'm using buggy front shock all the way around with white touring car springs in front. Reds springs in rear. Do I need to chang to touring car shocks completely. This thing has way to much steering. If I punch it half way down the stright it will spin around. Using a stock motor! I have pretty much given up on it. Although I am wanting to get it going so it won't just be sitting on the shelf.

Jones: If you have buggy shocks on it, use associated buggy springs: Start with golds on all 4 corners. #2 pistons in the front, #3 in the rear w/ 35 wt. oil. If the track is really loose, get a pair of 1 degree rear toe in suspension mounts as well...
25 degree caster both sides, 0 camber on all 4 to start...
Set the ride height so the rear arms are level, (parallel with the ground) with a motor, battery, etc. installed. Then set the front ride height so the chassis is level front to rear. Make sure you have the car "sitting into" the shock travel a little, so the suspension can go up or down while sitting at ride height. This should be a good starting setup, see what the car does from there...

Thank you! I'll try that. I just haven't known where to start with this thing. We run on a High bank hard clay smooth track. Running line is around 250 feet. One of the main thing's I don't like about this car is that the front shock tower doesn't have holes per say, but it has just one big slot. I'm trying to figure out how I can keep the shocks from moving in the shock tower.

To stop your shocks from moving, just use a locking nut. I also used to get frustrated with my shocks moved, but now they never move. Associated sells 4:40 locking & plastic nuts in a bag together & that are only like $2. Thats all I ever use. Well good luck!! TTYL  Also to help you with your spinning out problem try seeing if one of your hub carrier bearings is not locking up, that sometimes happens & it too is frustrating. Well thats all folks! check to make sure nothing is binding in the suspension. Also take some digital calipers and check out the front kickup plate. If its slightly bent...get a new one. Also check to see if the front arms are flat.

I guess I just haven't spen as much time on it as I should. It just has a but load of steering. Understandable, it weighs a ton in the front!

One more question. where can I find some foam tires that I won't have to build myself. I have been looking for some pre mounted foam that will go right on my B3 Kranzel!

Jones I'm going to try and come over Friday night. I'll have mine that I ran last time. You can look and mike any thing on the car. The main thing I remember from your car is no side dam on the car. I also use hpi aqua springs on the front with touring shocks. Hope I can make it. I love ya'lls track and want to see more wedges out there running. If you need anything just PM me.

I ment to look at your car, or take a picture! So I could give myself a start place. I do like this new track. If you want to beat my track record you are going to have to bring a good motor. I set the record in stock with my b4 running 6.4-6.6 with no mistakes. I think I have 37 laps in 4 min. I didn't see how in the world we can get 38. Gives us something to shoot for! I know you ran low 6's on the old track so you should be a little faster. I just thought I would let you know. I don't know if you have talked to any one about the changes in the track.
