yeah, you KNOW I am, but sometimes a Bowtie just looks better than the Blue Oval -

I just did a 2nd car for the concrete track (A-MAIN RACEWAY, Home of the KIMBROUGH 400) and got the mounts dead on, so I can share ONE body w/ 2 cars...but I'm thinking I want to get a 'Stang painted, cut and trimmed so I can try it again (since someone was kind enough to send me one) -- But I really LOVE the looks and function of these Camaros.

I can understand your desire for a Challenger. I know I would be first in line for a nationwide version. I do have to admit that the McAllister mustang and camaro are very nice looking bodies. It will be hard to pick one or the other for our fall season.

I actually don't want the Challenger in "Nationwide" style, I'd love it in the style of Gary's ASA Mustang and Camaro. -- IMHO they look so much cooler "On the Track" than the NATIONWIDE versions.

Since the old ASA Series that was to use the Camaro and Mustang no longer exists...I think we should change those to SWT Camaro and Mustang!!! (and Challenger)

Hey Gary, do these bodies come with the headlight stickers? i know the last few bodies i've bought of yours didnt come with stickers, only masks for headlights(older bodies)

ALL the stickers on my camaros shown (black and green and black and blue) are Gary's Stickers.

Grille decals, fender sponsor decals, numbers.

The Mustang ASA body has them too

As Joe mentioned, the Mustang and Camaro bodies include the detail decals. We do offer the detail decals separately for most of our Nascar stuff, and are included with the bodies through all of our Hobby Dealers.

Steven- We do have two generations of the Charger detail decals available. Could work on the Mustang body.

Ron- These bodies were submitted to The Tour last year. They are no different than the late models currently used for Tour races. Those bodies are haven't been Nationwide bodies for two years now, even though they are designated so in the Tour rules. Can't think of any reason why our bodies aren't apropriate. But, I don't get involved in the politics behind closed doors.

...well I guess a NATIONWIDE "Challenger" is pointless NOW w/ DODGE's announcement of Leaving Nascar @ the end of 2012.

(But a SWT/ASA Challenger would still be a choice )

Do you think your new NNS bodies are at an areo dynamic disadvantage to the older twisted bodies? ie: Toyota HD & Chevy HD.

And did TOUR approve your NNS bodies? Seems like they would at least be an option in the 13.5 spec class (0 timming/yellow stripe tires)

Not sure what NNS is referring to. But, our ASA/SWT Camaro and Mustang bodies have no problem competing against any other bodies, all else being equal. Keep in mind, we aren't paying all the top racers to win the big events. So the perception of body performance is very skewed.

Of course, for me personally, I can't comment on other's bodies, I don't use them. LOL

When TOUR began, they Grandfathered our old Nationwide bodies into their approved list. Only our COT bodies have been added since.

Gary - NNS would be "Nascar Nationwide Series" w/o actually using the registered names of NASCAR and/or NATIONWIDE

I'd personally LOVE to see a Top Level driver w/ the courage to take a ASA/SWT Camaro or Mustang - and TUNE IT to run up front @ the birds.

Yes, I'm sure it handles different than ALL the cars running the cookie cutter HD other bodies - but all body handling issues can generally be tuned.

I loved it when Tony Neisinger did it in the 80's, and it would be just as fun to watch again in this century.

Hi Joe-
I was guessing that NNS was Nationwide. However we are the only body manufacturer to make a current Nationwide body, so having a class for it is kind of a mute point. I don't suspect that will change soon.

The reason I know the Ad budgets that include Team Racers works is because we did that in the past. Many National events were won with drivers like, Tony Neissinger, Kent Clausen, Ralph Birch Jr., Dave Pulfer and others with our bodies. In the late 80s more than 50% of the bodies raced at Whippoorwill were McAllister Racing bodies. We don't support Team Racers any longer to keep our prices low for our Dealers and customers. It has hurt us in the overall Pan Car Oval market, but I think it is the fair thing to do for our Dealers and customers.
