I have 2 JL Grand Nationals. One is blue, the other is black and silver 2 tone. Neither one has GN logos on them. Funny thing is, the 2 tone has writing under the hood (holding the car upside down) it says "1987 Buick Grand National used under license" The blue one (and all my other JL bodies) dont have this printing. Is this odd?
I didnt notice the missing GN logos on the cars either when I bought them, so pretty much as far as I'm concerned, they are just a pair of Regals unless I decal them myself.

Those are both bodies from the ThunderJets pullback series, which were less finely detailed than the slot cars. Is the logo the only differentiator? Did the Regal come with the hood bulge?

JL only needed to licence the cars that were black as Grand Nationals. The others are just Regal Turbos with the hood bludge.
