Can a bore be oversized .020 with a standard cylinder hone or does it take a special tool obtainable from Briggs?

The hone I used to have for oversizing the cylinder did not look like a standard hone. It was long almost the full length of the cylinder and the cutting stones expanded evenly across the bore. A standard spring tension hone may not apply even pressure if it is not held perfectly centered and perpendicular to the cylinder and could cause the bore to become out of round

That sounds very similar to the one I saw in a Briggs tool list. The one they listed had four stones and looked as though they went full lenth. Sound like the one you had?
