I have been searching part of the day looking for the metal body mounts/gear plate clips for the old t-jet and magna traction cars. I haven't had much luck, and I need about a dozen of them soon. If anyone knows the item I'm talking about, and has a line on where to find them, please let me know.

Pete - I know exactly what you are talking about. I can't find them on any catalog, but I would guess your bet my be Joe at Nostalgia Hobbies, NJ or Jim Gase, Jag Hobbies.

NEIL'S WHEELS carries them too. They're called cobramite clips. They run about a buck a piece. If you go to ebay, look up "slotfather" or you can go to his website.
