Gebrüder Bing (Bing Brothers) was a German toy company located in Nuremerg. They were founded in, 1863, by the brothers Ignaz and Adolf Bing.

They started out making metal kitchen utensils and pewter tableware before starting toy production in 1880.

During the 1890s through to the early 1900s they made a series of fire equipment vehicles. Some with live steam power.

They made a range of cars in the early 1900s as well. These models had a clockwork motors, opening doors, working steering and rubber tires. A motorized River boat was also made.

Some of these molds were transferred to Bub another German toy maker.

Their first teddy bears were released in 1907.

By the early 20th century, Bing was the largest toy company in the world, and Bing's factory in Nuremberg was the largest toy factory in the world.

Although Bing produced many different toy lines, it is best remembered for its toy trains and live steam powered toys.

A 1:43 diecast series called "Starline" was issued later using the 1960 Opel Rekord P2 Caravan and Blitz in different liveries as issued models.

In addition to toys, they also made scientific and educational novelties. And a huge range of kitchenware, tableware, office equipment, record players, electrical goods and so on.
