...my local supermarket restocked their Hot Wheels. You can guess which batch they brought out from the store room. But I'm glad I could score a few good ones that no other shop has on the pegs any more.

Nice selection of NOS.

When you say frozen chicken,do you mean the Swanson Hungary Man fried chicken tv dinner...mmm :)
Haha, I should have taken a photo. Don't think we have Swanson here in New Zealand but they literally have two plastic baskets filled with these short cards sitting on top of the frozen foods chillers with a view to the packed breads and cakes. You wouldn't believe it. But that means not many collectors are aware.

Thanks guys. I really got excited when I saw all those 2010 models. I hadn't started to collect anything then so it's been nice to catch up a little. I wish I had more money though, these cars here represent about $45 US dollars or 56 New Zealand dollars. Worth it but the car needed petrol too. I think the next purchase will be another storage box.

Nice haul of old stuff. Sometime last year my grocery store had a hanging HW display that was on the end of one of the frozen food aisles. I almost stopped to look a few times and it stayed pretty full for a while, but I hadn't started collecting again at the time. Now I wonder how long any nicer goodies hung around. The toy section just has 2 pegs of regular and the candy nostalgia cars the last few times I've been.

And U.S. collectors on HT raised a stink when mainlines went up nine cents from one dollar. If they were that expensive here, they would all hang on the pegs for eternity!
You got it. Boulevards and Hot Ones are $7.30 US dollars each. And petrol here costs around $5.90 US dollars a gallon. People sometimes forget that. But this is a different topic again. Still...I'm sure if they were that expensive there, people would slowly adapt and collect anyway.
