We have had several questions as of late about new battery part #s and their legality. I will try and answer this question as simply as possible.

We were provided with part #'s for current pack in production.
Some of these packs have had a number change as the connector has changed on the packs. Most had deans plugs on them. We are now seeing the same packs coming out with inboard connectors but have diffrent part #s to identify them.

I will use the SMC 50C pack as example.

deans plug pack ******** 4950S
inboard connector pack ** 4950SI

I hope this answers some of the questions I am getting.

The SMC inboard are on the ROAR approved list prior to season starting, they are legal. Thanks for asking,
