I cant remember what the charge and discharge rates are. I have some 4200's comming but I want to try to refresh my old radio batteries and the receiver pack in my revo.

The receiver pack is a 5 cell 1100 mah NIMH and the radio batteries are 8 cell 700mah NICD AA's. Thanks for any help.

I think the charge rate was 2C for the nicd;s but not sure.

The charge rate is often closer tied to the form factor of the cell then it is to the capacity... There are also many other factors...

For charging... 1C is pretty safe for most any NiCD or NiMH... 2C is typicaly pushing the upper limits...

Discharge rates are a completely different beast... Shouldn't matter much in your radio... For main vehicle power sources... 10C discharg rates are on the high end of continious discharge for a Sub-C NiMh cell. For a AA cell... 1C is a pretty high discharge rate.
