Bachmann Industries was a brand name of Bachmann Brothers Inc, which is now a company based in Hong Kong best known for model railroading. They were founded in 1833, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was the home of its North American headquarters. Making them one of the oldest business still operationg in America.

Bachmann is now part of the Kader Industrial Company Limited which was founded in Hong Kong in 1948 by Ting Hsiung Chao. Their model products are made at the Chinese Government joint-venture plant in Dongguan, China.

Bachmann brand is the largest volume seller in the world of model railroading. They specialize in entry level train sets, but offer premium sets in many scales. Their Spectrum line is a high quality model railroad line, offered in N, HO, Large Scale, On30, and Williams O gauge all aimed to the hobby market. Bachmann is also the producer of the railroad village product line known as "Plasticville" introduced in 1949.

Their Pocketbond & Toyway series is offered by Bachmann Europe Plc made by Shinsei. This range of 1:76 diecast features a wide selection of plastic pocket money toys, collectables, and scale model construction kits. Series ranges include "Classix", "Pocketbond", and "Transport Treasures".
