I thought Tom Lowe and JL were a done deal as a partnership a little over a year ago. When JL went ahead on their own with the 40th Anniv. I thought it was dead for a spell. I am not surprised he is getting back in. I am surprised he is doing it now and with a brand new casting library rather than taking over something.

Either way you cut it........It's great news.:)

Tom has some great resources in his current staff to do some great diecast again. It will be a plus to the collectors

If you were expecting AutoWorld to jump into 1/64 at this strange economic time you just might be one of a very few. I know that everybody (Including me) who watched the presentation live were surprized! Are you psychic? Do you have mayo jars under your porch?:freak::wave:
I've been around long enough that nothing in this business really surprises me anymore.

I'm actually glad Tom Lowe's starting fresh. I'm tired of the "more of the same" attitude I've been seeing in the Johnny Lightning line. Hopefully he'll come up with something high quality that's affordable.

Yep it's fresh. There is no teaming up with another line, an old line or a dead line. I asked if it was Camaro, Mustang, Corvette............ the staple diet of all new upstarts and the answer was.........................

just like the slide read, "coming soon":p

Yes - An Edsel would be great ! Try something besides a '58 for once ... & do it better than Hot Wheels so-so version ...
The 1/18s on that list have few that interest me . Wish they would do those 71 Chargers without the sun roofs & vinyl tops ! Hope they correct Ertls errors on the 70 Torino GT also ..
Does Tom Lowes company have an email that works ?? Ive tried from their website & it comes back as undeliverable ....
