No, not the Corgi model, but a new release from Minichamps. Not the sort of thing I normally collect - film/TV related diecasts - however I couldn't resist this, like a lot of others, I had the Corgi version - long, long, gone.

I am pleased to confirm, that after a quick roadtest, the roof ejection system works. The bullet proof shield & extending tyre cutters are present & correct, and even the revolving numberplates are there as well. The basic Aston casting also looks great - super model.

Great looking model Steve! I saw this model in a store a short time ago. It was part of the store owner's collection. He said he would order one for me if I wanted one. Your pics made me realize that I better see him soon to order one!

How much are they? I will look for it.
I paid £22 in the UK - approx US$41 - take care there are two Minichamps "007" DB5s - one has the operating features (Goldfinger) and the other without (Casino Royale). Confusingly, the catalogue numbers are nearly the same. The Goldfinger car is 400 137260 & the Casino Royale car is 436 137260.
