  • High pressure water cannons, concealed behind the bumper lights;

The 1963 Aston Martin DB5 was designed in house at Aston Martin along with Carrozzeria Touring in Newport Pagnell, a Borough in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England.

This Hot Wheels version was designed by Fraser Campbell and debuted in the 2014 HW Workshop: HW All Stars segment series in 2 different body colors. Two other premium castings were also issued this year. Twelve more castings have followed since then. Including the 2022, Gold Themed Multipack (?).

Hot Wheels does a good job with this casting, above is from my collection.
I remember when I was a kid having the Corgi toy of the James Bond car. What a great toy. I don't remember how I got it. Picture isn't mine. I don't remember what happened to it sadly. Tough getting old.

The green Hot Wheels version from 2014. I also have a few Corgi versions that I have picked up along the way. This loose one is noted to be from the Casino Royal movie and has Daniel Craig depicted as the driver.

Interestingly the 1:64 Corgi version is the DB6 from 1965.

Also released in a nice blue livery in the early 1980s.

The base plate on the 2009 version from above has it back to being the DB5. Visually apart from the rear side windows and roof line I dont think there is many other differences between the 2 MYs at 1:64 scale, but the Silver Corgi above does also have the 'Bond' ejector seat function built into it!
