Stopped in a KB I haven't seen in a while, and was told they haven't gotten any JLs in for months. Got me to wondering; has anyone found any of the new improved Johnnys at a KB or TRU store yet????

All KB's anywhere even remotely near me closed about 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. Didn't mean much to me as the district manager is/was an ebayer and had orders out to all 25-30 of his stores that all "chase" pieces from Diecast were to be held for him. If you caught him at a toy show, his prices were pretty outlandish as well.

I can do you even one more...the two KB's in my area have simply discontinued all 1:64 cars! I could not belive it when the clerk told me this several months ago, but maybe he was telling the truth. Have not seen
any new cars since.

At one store, they did not even sell down the old stock, it just disappeared overnight! Oh well, just goes to show that children really aren't buying diecast replicas.

Well that kinda sucks... call the corporate office in Massachusetts and speak to someone about that. They were very helpful people when I spoke with them about Johnny Jam last year.

I've been stopping by a local KB's in the hopes they would get something new, absolutely nothing. Didn't get anything for the holidays, probably been at least 3 months now since they got in several Poker boxes.

I've been trying to stop by since the "bigger and better" announcement, but nothing. Except they did put back out all the old JL's that they had put away during the Christmas season (Poker, SEP)

There's a gew in the DC/balt area and all I've seen in quantity are poker cars. Even the TRu's (that are still open) in the area seem pretty bare.

I havn't seen any of the new stuff at KB or Toys R Us. KB's around here put the old stuff back out that they put away and marked them at a $1.99.(Poker and some SF).

I haven't visited my KB siince last summer. They never had any new stock in and when they did, some scalpers usually beat me to most of the good johnnies.

Two of the three KBs near me have nothing at all new for a loooong time now. One of the three had put out a few cases a few days before christmas, 99% of it was poker, but I did get lucky enough to find a 13 customs 40 Panel w/l, and two bwfs, and a pip that day. I haven't found a thing at any of them since then, or prior to then.

As you know, Rich, I called you from a KB yesterday. The 'newest' JL they had was a single 1959 Impala from Impala Parade. The other JL were Poker (surprise!), Marvel, etc.
I did pick up those 3 Muscle Machines BWF for ya! :thumbsup:
