Isn't that the Meat Wagon that was one of the cars in the Frightning Lightnings 2 First Shot set? If so, it is probably worth $2-3 loose. :)

I think this came in a set with another Chromed version of this casting originaly. I am sure that this is worth at least $3.50. Man just put it in your basement for 10 years and then it might double in value.....lol

Nice car (keep it!) Bob

I did some searching on the net and did find reference on Tom's site to him creating the design for the Meat Wagon and Barris using his design, with some minor changes to create a 1:1 version, but called it the Surf Wagon. It is also mentioned on the batman site for the batcycle (George Barris also created the batcycle).

If this is so, not sure why its not on his list of creations??

I found the info you're referring to but that is not the Packard Meat Wagon being discussed here. :)

Think this is the one? It was made in 1965......no confirmation on who the designer was. Since Tom Daniel worked with Monogram I'd guess this was not one of his designs as you had first mentioned.....
