OK, its this gift kinda set that i got at KBToys a while ago,
its sky blue, and is open on the top.
there are 2 cars inside a plastic covering.
1) is a yellow dune buggy kinda thing
2) is an old red car with red lined wheels.

anyone know what this is,
all it says its "Hotwheels" (on its logo)

doenst even say the year!

So i was wondering if anyone else knows about this.
maybe i can get a pic of it sometime when i go to my friends house who has a digital camera....

kinda sounds like that kb exclusive set. think they do a different one each year with different cars.

I think yer onto sumthin there... I picked up a few of those 2 car sets, just can't remmeber the other car, but I KNOW the one was a Red Baron with redline basic wheels... they went down to like 50 cents or sumthin and I picked up a few just to pirate the redline wheels!... now what was the other car in that set....

...hmmm...

GOT IT! it was a Shock Factor!... and I think the 2 car pack was from sumthin to do with the Toy Story movie...back when that was popular

..as far as value, probably only worth the 50 cents they got marked down to...way too many of them out there..the red Baron was just a commemerative re-pop...
..and here's what happened to the Red Baron I pirated the wheels from...

i bought it for 3 dollars! ( i think back in 1997 or 1998)

yup, they were packaged with the toy story set. Not sure why they were removed and sold seperatly? but K-B had a buttload of em, mine has a sticker that says $1.99, can't remember when I bought it.
