Anyone have any Hot Wheels New Year's Resolutions?

1. Buy far less HWs than ever. Only certain specific castings. Will have to see if I keep our TH set going since 1995. Not sure on this year's "Super" program. Hard enough to collect 12 cars and to think about 24 will not make the prospect any easier.

2. Continue downsizing collection. Parted with almost 2,000 cars this year. Have a few hundred more to go.

3. Spend less time hunting cars. It's likely any I want to add will be able to be found any time, so no rush to hit the stores many times per week.

4. Organize the cars I'm keeping and allocate some display space in my house. Really stinks that i don't have any on display.

So how about you guys?

No more Hotwheels for me. I'm not wasting anymore time hunting for the castings I like. Too many crazed HW "collectors" in this area, that buy every single piece of the best castings when they find them. Not leaving any for anyone else. So I'm not even going to bother with them anymore. I'll stick to JL, GL and MB from now on.

I have always been real selective in my HW purchases purschasing only a few cars here and there. I tend to only get one version of a realistic looking casting unless it is a Cobra or I like the color of the casting.
