And speaking of bases...

I was wondering if anyone put together a Monster Scenes base that fills the gap in front of The Pain Parlor. The PP and Hanging Cage bases link together, but a third base would be an ideal place for Gruesome Goodies.

I am working at a glacial pace on all three kits. Fun! And thanks again to DennCom et al for releasing them.

Thanks for the heads-up on the bases. This is exactly what I was looking for!

I've toyed with the idea of picking up a couple of Pete's kits even before I saw the bases. His figures have a nice vibe which blend in well with the MS line, and I particularly like the Invisible Man we've seen put together on another forum thread. A cool kit beautifully painted.

The "Parts Pit" was featured in an issue of Model and Figure Collector several issues ago; a beautiful built-up with detailed painting and customizing instructions. (I always appreciate an artist who shares his techniques for achieving certain subtle effects).

And on a side note, I think some of Pete's kits are designed not only as MS add-ons, but a continuation of the Monsters of the Movies series as well.

So many fun kits to choose from; so little time to build.
