I was wondering if anyone put together a Monster Scenes base that fills the gap in front of The Pain Parlor. The PP and Hanging Cage bases link together, but a third base would be an ideal place for Gruesome Goodies.

I am working at a glacial pace on all three kits. Fun! And thanks again to DennCom et al for releasing them.

Great idea.
Not sure if you're doing it as a kit or not, just thought I'd give you a heads up. Molemento Pete has some kits coming out and so does Hunch (Jim Webb) that have bases that fit in and around the MS bases. Check out the link and post #9 where Pete shows a pic of his next kits and their base placements. (I think this is where you're talking about putting the GG base.)

Another link for Jim's current kits: http://www.tylisaari.com/models/gallery/ms/addon/mslayout.JPG
Not quite sure where Jim's next kit will go but I hear it's a doozy!

Thanks for the heads-up on the bases. This is exactly what I was looking for!

I've toyed with the idea of picking up a couple of Pete's kits even before I saw the bases. His figures have a nice vibe which blend in well with the MS line, and I particularly like the Invisible Man we've seen put together on another forum thread. A cool kit beautifully painted.

The "Parts Pit" was featured in an issue of Model and Figure Collector several issues ago; a beautiful built-up with detailed painting and customizing instructions. (I always appreciate an artist who shares his techniques for achieving certain subtle effects).

And on a side note, I think some of Pete's kits are designed not only as MS add-ons, but a continuation of the Monsters of the Movies series as well.

So many fun kits to choose from; so little time to build.
