worth a buck or two on ebay. after fees you'd be better off returning it to wm to get more money for it.

Amazing, one of a kind, huge? Are we talking about a toy car or possibly about me? :hat: bah, when I saw that picture I didn't quite wet myself over a missing HW logo...who would? Come on, get a grip. Even a $uper with rubber wheels in the back and plastic wheels in the front wouldn't be worth more than ten dollars to me.

Nice error " But " not worth much these days as Mattel makes way too many mistakes and still packs them inside the cases to be sold.

Now if you found that kind of error 25+ years ago, , you probably would of gotten around $100 for it as not many errors were found 25+ years ago.

Mattel is all about producing quanity of the Cars and not so much in the quality of the Cars.

It's still a convo piece though to talk about, but nothing to do kartwheels over, Sorry couldn't hold myself back on the kartwheels. :p

Again ...... Nice find

Error's are just that - errors. Sub-par product. Etc.

To me, it's worth nothing. Mainlines in general are $.88 at my local Wally World and that's all I will pay.
A product of poor quality control.
Mattel openly taunts these "errors" and "variations" as being something special. There's actually a dedicated "error and variation" board on the HWC.
I must say that I believe it to be pure genius to find a way to glorify cull cars in the eyes of the collecting community rather than recycling them as the junk that they are. WTG Matty!
Where else in marketing is a defective unit of trade considered a prize?

like i said further up, mattel openly glorifies these, when its the product of shoddy workmanship, i consider it less than worthless, for my hard earned money, i want a perfect car, not the car Al the doorwarmer freaks out about, to me it's the grade of collector, most m2/gl/jl guys i see on here don''t have time for a messed up car, yet this OP has wet himself in an attempt to glorify a piece of crap in a blister..

Collecting anything becomes a whole lot less fun when "the dollar" becomes the primary motivator(...been there, done that). Break it open and put it on a track. If its fast, its 'priceless'...and you might have some fun in the process.

And for the record, subtle errors & variations are almost impossible to spot as a car is screaming down a 40ft drag coarse. ;)

found a ford shelby GR-1 hunt last night with a wheel error.i like erros i think they are cool but they are not a rare find IMO.the no HWs tempo is cool though. the stupid errors i think are the ones with the car in a differant postions in the blister or the wrong car in the blister.anything that is broken off still in the BP oh and my all time fav of stupid the car that has someone pubes in with it .i have seen pics of so many cars/errors that have a small black hair in the package:drunk:eek:h and i have come across one that looked like a booger stuck on the roof.all of those i consider to be just tards on the line not paying attention.it's the no tempos, differant wheels, missing wheels or parts IE spoilers, windshield ect that i think are really cool:thumbsup:
