geralde61, I think it's those that make these cars who should be taking that CLOSER look before shipping them from the factory to sell. We all are willing to pay a bit more for the excellent detail and quality and shouldn't expect anything less.

Man, 2 MESSED UP Camaros in a week! Maybe it's a disgruntle JL Diecast Factory Worker directing his frustration on Camaros to try and get even???

What can you live with and what you can't...

Not to be the spoiler here (not that it isn't a noticable scuff either, it is) and I know that you like Camaros Shane (so sorry you are bummed out here)...it is a very cool Camaro, where can I find one?

Be that as it may...
Folks need to keep in mind that these (like all other diecast) are 1/64th diecast cars, not the real 1:1 thing on the dealer's lot. There are some issues that can't pass (StreatFreaks Camaro withthe loose hood for example).

To maintian a perfect, flawless specimen without a (ANY,EVER) single tic mark, non evenly unpeened rivit, a micro sized paint run etc ANYWHERE on the car is a bit unrealistic. And that is just the diecast car itself.

Let alone the cardboard freaks blathering about a out of register halftone dot...

For that degree of perfection, expect to pay a hell of a lot more.

I disagree. for 2.99 it should be better. i can understand if the car was .99.

johnny's quality control has gone south.

im seeing alot of goof ups for sale in local stores.

jl better watch out. they may loose some great customers.
