six of the seven standard colors available on a Superbird, gathered together in Indianapolis this weekend...

alpine white, petty blue, limelight, tor red, lemon twist, and blue fire metallic

I'm a Chevy guy to the bone, but this is just an awesome sight. I've always had this "thing" for the wing cars. When (not IF) I win the lottery, I'll get one of each color, SuperBird AND Daytona... All 4-speeds, of course! :cool:

I kinda like your folk's unrestored Daytona better then those Superbirds :thumbsup:

So what's the missing 7th color not represented?

the seventh color is Vitamin C, as mentioned by 72challenger.

less than a handful of superbirds were painted burnt orange metallic, an eighth color not listed on the dealer order forms for the cars.

while not as wild looking as the mopars, ford produced some radical aero cars of their own. the three colors available on a talledega form a patriotic photo.

presidential blue, wimbledon white, and royal maroon
