This IMSA racing model version is based on the cars campaigned by BMW in the 1990s GT Series. The debut livery used on the casting is loosely based on the BMW Team Schnitzer cars. The casting model sits higher than its real world counter part does. And is also noticeably missing half of its lower front bumper to accommodate track and loop performance usage.
The mainline castings with plastic bases (? - needs verification) also carry the casting name as '94 BMW M3 GTR. While any of the Premium (? needs verification) versions will use the original release name. The last release version is the only Premium type casting currently included @Fandom and they note the card front name as BMW M3 E36
