i wonder if hot wheels might have taken artistic license on this one. the tail lights are 1969/70, but the grille is a 1968.

this is the actual car, before paint. the tail light area looks to be the 1968 style, but who knows what was actually painted on the body at the time mattel decided to recreate it. regardless, hot wheels has a winner with this drag strip demons series.

That one was one of my earlier purchases in my collecting. I hadn't yet painted up my road board that I use for pics now and I think those were the only 3 purple Chargers I had at the time. I didn't yet know what a monster I had created by starting to buy these things haha.

you're welcome. there are hundreds of links, and literally thousands of photos, accessible through that home page. the number of vintage funny car photos found there is mind-boggling.

I don't think so, but thats just me....Demon series rocks!

I just can't see a JL being better than the Demons, Its a lot smaller compare to the Demons, and in my opinion only I think HW demons are the best here another Charger that I like most too....:thumbsup:
