2 New releases from ODG Studios: A Spinner Base & A Red Knight Conversion & Base

Hello,

A friend of mine (Dan) just released a really kewl base which he commissioned. It is designed to go with Fujimi's Spinner Model kit, which was recently released.

Included is a very detailed circular (resin) base, an "exhaust plume" supporting structure, along with a street post.

For the particulars, visit: http://www.odgstudios.com/spinner.html .

He's also released a pretty nice conversion set & base for Monogram's re-release of the Red Knight of Vienna.

For these particulars, visit: http://www.odgstudios.com/redknight.html .

A cool idea, and I like the way he weathered his spinner. But he should have added an original Syd Mead Blade Runner Parking Meter.
Thanks, but why (the addition of an "original Syd Mead Blade Runner Parking Meter")???

Uhhh, I have no idea what you're talking about???

...I spoke with Dan about that, and he said that he and Paul (the guy who crafted the whole thing) made a conscious effort not to just duplicate the scene from the movie. They wanted to give an "alternative view" to this scene.

This is the same reason why the figures which Dan's is creating (to sit in the Spinner) aren't designed to look just like Dekkard and that other guy, who was piloting the Spinner.

("Variety is the spice of life", after all).
