I just wanted to thank everybody for coming out. Espeically with the weather the way it was. We had an great turn out and only a couple minor issues with the timing system but I believe were resolved and everybody was happy. The results are posted on our site under "results" at www.michianarc.com
After things wind down a bit, I think it would be a good idea for the 4 tracks to get together and talk about next years events and do some prliminary planning.

Thanks for your interest. If your planning on coming, take a look at the form, see what were running. This year is looking like it's going to be one of our biggest, so we will probably be only running the classes listed on the sign-up sheet. Were limited on time at the Joyce center and can not run late. There is a link to the form in my signature.

Aaron.. thanks.. already have checked it out when it was 1st posted.. 6 cell stock has been my favorite for years but been away from it a long time.. maybe 4 cell stock but that ole buddy Sonny dude keeps trying to get me to run 4300.. might have to take him up on it.. too bad there is not a oval Gearbox truck.. I got something that ole Butch Bebee guy..LOL.. anyway I'll know something by this Thurs after we have our Mustang Club Meeting.. got to find out what day they want me to help them.. Sat or Sun up there..until then Peace Out!!!! The Dr.!!!!!!!! :wave:
Yeah, we have a few that will run it. My guess is the 4300 class will be the biggest oval class. It will depend on what other area tracks participate. If we get a decent amount of guys from jams, it could be 4-cell stock. When we get more pre-entries in, I'll try and give estimates on how many/what class etc.

How can you not look at this race.It will give your local race track the most exposure that there could be.You guys should want to make this race to help the hobby in your area.Aaron can pry give you real numbers on the onlookers at this event,I would say atleast 10,000 people thru the weekend will walk by the track.I'm pry understating the number.Anyways say 5% of the people are interested after the racing they saw.Thats 500 potential racers for local tracks.I don't know who would turn down 500 more racers to the area.
So, if you want your local racing to stick around,you pry should help make this race huge.I've only been in this a year and a half,I personally have watched quit a few racers be done.You have to keep fresh meat coming thru the door.This we all need to do as racers wanting fellow racers.So, help this event by participating.Besides,Mrcr take care of their racers pretty good.
Just my 2 cents.Also, there are clubs that most of like in Southbend and across the border in Michigan,Just like Ft. Wayne.(.)(.) :tongue:

And yeah, those sprint cars are cool- you must've seen the video the track posted on their site (kinda wish I had one, too!)
