For the past year or two I haven’t been posting many pictures…but my Diecast spending has not slowed down a bit. I’ve expanded my interest in other high end brands and have been exploring the 1:43 scale which I have really grown fond of. Recently I bought some more traditional scale…1:64. These ‘Kyosho’ brand 1969 Camaros that I think are outstanding and are available in Z-28 and RS/SS trim. Jeweled head/tail lights and outstanding proportions. On the down side…plastic bases and no opening features…and the selling price about $8.00 USD.

…next to some of those 1:87 scale cars that were available at Walmart a couple of years ago..

…and for size comparison they are about the same size a Hot Wheels….

Kyosho is my favorite brand but I was not terribly happy with the US car series. They did not look overall much better than the other brands

$8 is kind of high IMO but the they look to be highly detailed and if they wear rubber tires it wouldn't be such a bad deal. They do look nice and I'd probably buy them if I got the chance...even if it was my last $8. :p
