I remember the old, early days of Playing Mantis Johnny Lightning. They sure did put out a lot of castings, a lot that weren't done a lot... and very few fantasy ones

But, man the stance and wheels they put on the early stuff made every car look like a 4x4!

Very true! They are also a little to narrow to be great gravity track racers, too.
