My Only memory of the Vette was at 15, after my uncle was release from Nam, he brought a 68 vette in Black w/a 427 swap engine and took me to a race...street race aganist my mother wishes, So from there on I fell in love of all vettes.....well next to Camaros...long Story....

Not to be a party pooper but...I just don't like the doors on them. I love that car but the gaps are just too wide. No other M2 bothers me as much with their doors.
Not all M2s are like that, and some its hard to see that in a package then to drive back for an exchange, or return form....Yeah, I know what you mean but some times some of us would over look that or fix it ourselves....

I think part of the problem with the Corvette (for me anyway) is that the door goes all the way into the roof. Most M2 cars just have the bottom part of the door and no windows so gaps are less noticeable.. Also, the Vette is a streamlined shape which makes that gaps stand out more unlike the trucks which also have full doors. For example in that first pic, the red tow truck doesn't bother me but with the little red Corvette (clap, clap) my eyes are drawn immediately to the door.
