I have b&s 18.5 hp opposed twin in a mtd white lawn tractor. It will start on full choke but won't run off choke. It then runs for 5 -10 then dies. When i put it in gear it dies. Any ideas.

Not getting enough fuel, most likely a restriction in the main jet of the carburetor. Might be able to just clean the jet, there is an access plug on the side of the carburetor. Carburetor may need to be torn down and cleaned.
