Nice color!
I used Krylon celery on mine.
I'm not sure how much experience you have had with krylon paints, but they don't play well with other paints. Just be carful putting anything over it. I also won't put it over anything but a primer.

I have the Krylon Celery, and after using it on another model, I found it WAY too light. I found this new color to be more to my liking. The Celery is basically just a beige/cream color, with the slightest hint of green.

Thanks for sharing those pics! They're good references to have for the next one. I'm calling my little D-7 done, as I wasn't gonna do anything fancy with it. It was just a quick and simple build, to ease me back into the hobby, after a long dry spell. But I plan to do two, maybe three of the larger 1/650 D-7 kits in the future.
