In the late 1980s, GT Model Petite made 1:64 scale diecasts in limited amounts. Located at Southland-on-Sea, Essex, each model was individual hand built to order and mounted on a finished presentation board for a waiting list of customers.

Production of 1:64 models stopped as production costs outpaced the limited production rate of only a few castings per week. Iniitally (22) castings were available with an increase to (25) vehicles made in 1991.

Production of 1:24 and 1:43 scale limited edition vehicles did continue.
