flat carpet setup

Need a good starting point setup for flat carpet oval (70x35) om got all kinds of diffrent foams but no blacks ...car assoc. L3 thanks...

hey what's up i ran an l4 for two year on a flat carpet track what class are you going to run motor battery and what is the drive line is the carpet high traction low traction? let me know i will help you out as best as i can

Here are some ideas from our most popular set ups


Stock/19 turn; Purple/Blue RF, Gray LF, White LR, Dbl gray RR This combo has been untouchable lately in the stock and 19-0 for sure and great in some applications with 19 open timing

19 open/modified; Purple RF, Pink or gray LF, Pink LR, Pink or dbl pink RR.

Those are my top selling combinations for flat oval. It is what I run myself as well. Sometimes guys will stray a bit from this to make changes that they are looking for but these are the best right now. Hopefull that helps a little

At Marshalls hilltop Hobbies in pa the tracks driveline is 160 and i run four trc blacks or I have found the this combo works good to trc gray rears trc green Rightfront trc black leftfront This works good in 4cellstock and 19t

LF - Green

Left front spring...Wolfe green....Right front spring....wolfe red
Left rear spring....Gold..............Right rear spring......Gold
Left rear shock oil...30 weight Right rear shock oil...30 weight

center shock......70 weight...#2 piston......Green assoc. buggy spring
.
Castor....Rf 2 deg.............Lf...0 deg.
.
Camber...RF..2 deg............Lf..1 1/4 deg......
.
Tires
Lf....Green or Gray....RF.....Jaco blue...
LR...White or green...RR....Green or Gray

I mentioned this combination because you said you have no blacks........
Also I dont know if you are running stock or 19T.....This will get you close
for stock until you buy more tires......good luck

I should have been more helpfull this was started for 4 cell stock on a 130ft new flat track, I think its the new rubber backed calandra carpet...thanks for the help...we will need it.

on that same carpet i run rc4less tires gray rightfront(40) tan left front(35) tan right rear (35) cream left rear(30)green front spings rear side shocks right side blue spring left silver with 35 weight oil
