Tucker Torpedo

Before JL did this casting I knew the Tucker exsisted but never throughly checked the body style out.

The Tucker is screaming with style from top to bottom and front to back, this car really appeals to me.

picture borrowed from Wyatt's great site

Anyone else have a 1:1 car they knew exsisted but when JL did a casting,it really opened their eyes to what a beauty that model really was?

if your interested here's a link to a site with some pics of 1:1 Tuckers, click on "see a Tucker"

I saw a Tucker at an auto show this year and you're right Walter, the Tucker is a beautifully designed vehicle. I couldn't get enough of it while I was at the show.

To answer your question, I felt the same way about the '32 Ford. It was the black roadster with the pinstripe pfames from the Retro Rods series that got my attention. After that car was released I started to really look at '32s. That car was a real beauty in my opinion. It had beautiful lines and it was beautifully proportioned as well. Once I took a closer look at the design I fell in love with the car. The JL model seems to be a little long from the rear edge of the doors to the tank, and the roof for the coupe version is off a bit too, but overall, it still is a nice looking car. Personally, I think the JL version looks best as a roadster with a full hood.

The car is appealing, Pm did a fantastic job on making it also. I loved it so much that, hours were spent holding it in my hand and sawing the doors open I've got those finished and have the Trunk cut and some of the hood, - its a great attreactive car. Classy ride!
